hello. I’m Jacob.

I write. Short stories and novellas and comics. I read. I make music and zines and comics n stuff.

I’m extra happy when I’m with my silliest friends, in the mountains skiing, roller blading at the skatepark, or goofing around.

I read Chinese Studies at university and wrote my Honors thesis on Lao She’s novel Cat Country.

For $$$, I design at Google in Tokyo. Right now, I work on new things in the Google Maps app. Previously, I helped design and launch Google Assistant in California. Before Google, I designed at Intuit (also in Mountain View, CA) and Sano (a startup in San Francisco making a device & app to track blood sugar levels).
